The first born of Grinnaux, vassal house to High Dzemael.
Gene, in her early years was schooled and tutored by her family in a myriad of different ventures. Swordplay, arcanima, trade and statecraft, anything an heir would need to take charge of the house upon their ascension. Though as the years dragged on, Gene through outward appearance and impulsive tendency quickly became a family black sheep. A hastily drawn alliance was formed with house Ouvrard to see if their new daughter could be convinced to fall for her new protector, and save Grinnaux some face. This has yet to be the case.
Having lost the support of her family, Genevieve set outside of Ishgard following the Dragonsong War, founding a business with no real mission in the lands controlled by Limsa Lominsa. The company only began to take true shape after her chance meeting with a host at the Golden Saucer. Paying the woman, Imaelia, and incredible sum for the position of managing her affairs as a Seneschal. From this union Duskfall Acquisition and Securities was truly birthed. Offering Imaelia full control, save the formality of her signature, and ready to reap the monetary benefits of another's work, Gene's influence only grew, as did her coinpurse.
From tutorship at the Blue Mages Guild, funding ventures with other organizations from clinics to resistance efforts. Genevieve had become synonymous with money...and overspending. Whether with call girls on her arms in every club across Eorzea or sitting quietly in a board room while her Seneschal made her even more powerful. The changing times can only stand to grow the fledgling company, and it's odd...but somewhat disarming owner.

An Ishgardian Noble, House Grinnaux serves House Dzemael. While estranged from most of Ishgardian society, Gene still maintains the contacts she can. wealth, influence, and broad sphere of influence. House Grinnaux, beyond it's ownership of Duskfall, specializes in aetheric golemancy.
Socialite
An irreverent and impulsive woman, Gene loves the finer things. Clothes, clubs, and lovers. She's quite well acquainted with the scene both local and foreign. An easy woman to meet, and even easier to have heard about. Everyone loves a celebrity, even if they're a wreck.
Blue Magic
A avid student of the Blue, Gene has taken to Azuro's school like a flying sardine to air. Already picking up considerable knowledge from her tutelage. Gene is always happy to make contacts, or even take on potential students to learn alongside her in the art.

A company operated by Imaelia Hyskaris with Genevieve Grinnaux as primary investor, Duskfall Securities is a Free Company specializing in the acquisition and sale of hard-to-acquire, produce or sell goods and services.
